The quartzite is a type of metamorphic rock in net composed mainly of quartz. They come from the dismantling and metamorphic following passage of quarzoareniti. The varieties most colorless, transparent and with vitreous are composed almost exclusively of quartz. The texture is mainly massive, but the presence of micas can trasform it in scistosy.
